Your Turn!

July 20th, 2005 § 1 comment

Now that we’re getting close, I’ve got some questions here for you more or differently experienced parents out there. If you have any answers, drop me an e-mail (or leave a comment, if you prefer):

1) Anyone used a doula? Pros and cons, please. Would you use one again?
2) Have any favorite books on sibling interaction/rivalry to recommend?
3) Got any advice on VBACs?

Thanks!

§ One Response to Your Turn!

  • Anne says:

I can’t help on the sibling thing (we have an only child), but I can definitely recommend that you get a doula. Of course, I *am* one, so I’m a little biased. But it’s been proven that the presence of a doula reduces your chances of a C-section, your need for pain medication, and even the length of labor. And more support (especially from someone who knows the ropes) is always a good thing. Best of luck with your birth!
