Then we tried a letter from me. She took a book with her. Next we tried her stuffed hippo. Then, finally, we found what works and has worked all week:<\/p>\n<p>She brings her purse. And in her purse is a tissue. And a lipstick. And when she&#8217;s feeling sad, she puts on a little lipstick on. And, voila! She feels better.<\/p>\n<p>And, yes. She&#8217;s four.<\/p>\n<p>Oh. Dear.
