She pinged me to give you guys a shout out and to thank you for sticking with me.<\/p>\n<p>Well&#8230; c&#8217;mon folks. You&#8217;ve been with me long enough to know that that&#8217;s not really going to happen is it? It&#8217;s more like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>thanks for making me drag my sorry ass to the computer when I really didn&#8217;t feel like it, because I knew if I didn&#8217;t, there&#8217;d be harassing e-mails in my in-box on Thursday<\/li>\n<li>thanks for putting up with me (particularly Carly, Kara, Meg, Beth, and Steffanie) when <a href=\".\/.\/2003\/01\/female-partners-perspective.html\">I alienated just about every other HBS spouse<\/a> in the school<\/li>\n<li>thanks for spying in on <a href=\".\/.\/2002\/08\/fumes-fumes.html\">every<\/a> inane <a href=\".\/.\/2002\/06\/highland-park-nj-726-miles-i-think.html\">conversation<\/a>. <a href=\".\/.\/2002\/06\/past-48-hours-have-been-blur-of.html\">every moronic act of bravado<\/a>, and every <a href=\".\/.\/2002\/06\/did-i-call-this-real-part-of-world.html\">insipid thought<\/a> that passed through this obviously genius brain of mine<\/li>\n<li>thanks for witnessing the fact that my husband isn&#8217;t the put together, brilliant, almost-young manager his company seems to think he is, as you&#8217;ve heard every <a href=\".\/.\/2005\/08\/more-from-do-you-ever-think-before-you.html\">inane<\/a>, <a href=\".\/.\/2006\/01\/sins-of-father.html\">insipid<\/a>, and <a href=\".\/.\/2004\/01\/1-2-3.html\">moronic<\/a> thing <i>he<\/i> does<\/li>\n<li>thanks, in advance, for backing up my kids when they go to their therapists to complain about our parenting (too many incidents to link to here)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So, yes, all you people, a big fat thank you.
