It&#8217;s a fun night with food and lots of games. Unfortunately Doodles was sick. But the day started out looking like we could go, so we were chatting about it.<\/p>\n<p>Me: We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re going to ball night.<br \/>Doodles: Yeah! I love ball night! <br \/>Pie: Cinderella went to a ball.<br \/>Me: Yes.<br \/>Pie: It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s like that?<br \/>Me: No, not quite like that.<br \/>Doodles: It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s games.<br \/>Pie: Oh. I like games, too.<\/p>\n<p>About a half hour till we were to leave, Doodles spiked a fever. I plopped them in front of the TV and went to make dinner. <\/p>\n<p>Me: What do you want for dinner?<br \/>Pie: Hot dogs at ball night!<br \/>Me: Sweetie, remember, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re not going. Doodles&#8217;s sick.<br \/>Pie: Well, you and I can go!
