Me: How can you tell?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Because I got presents and I got streamers on my door. I have stuff written on my windows. And I get to choose what I want.<\/p>\n

Me: And what do you want?<\/p>\n

Doodles: A lot of stuff.<\/p>\n

Me: Like what?<\/p>\n

Doodles: A DS.<\/p>\n

Me: Do you really think you’re getting a DS?<\/p>\n

Doodles: No.<\/p>\n

Me: So then what do you want that you will get?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Let’s see. A Nerf gun.<\/p>\n

Me: Really?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Yes!<\/p>\n

Me: It’s going to be a disappointing birthday. What do you like to do these days?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Suck my finger.<\/p>\n

Me: Still?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Yes.<\/p>\n

Me: I thought you were trying to quit.<\/p>\n

Doodles: But I like it. I like to do my awesome dance. Play Club Penguin. I like reading everything.<\/p>\n

Me: What are your favorite books?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Diary of a Wimpy Kid<\/i> books<\/a>. Geronimo Stilton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Me: What do you want to be when you grow up?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Let’s see. A ballerina. Ha ha. Just kidding. I don’t know.<\/p>\n

Me: What are you looking forward to in second grade?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Let’s see. Studying Japan. Getting my own desk. Having my own supplies.<\/p>\n

Me: Any grand pronouncements?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Nope.<\/p>\n

Me: Anything else to say?<\/p>\n

Doodles: Everybody who reads this must jump up and down for the whole day.<\/p>\n
