I have a cold. And I’m the first to admit, I’m a serious drama queen when it comes to colds. I wallow in my misery and try to bring everyone down to my level.<\/p>\n
Tonight I prepared dinner for my children, as my husband gallivanted at his boxing gym. I had to reach deep to muster the energy to not sneeze all over my children’s food. But I managed. Because that’s the kind of mother I am.<\/p>\n
But then the kids started whining. So I said, “Hey! I’m sick! I have a cold! Where’s the empathy?”<\/p>\n
